How to use Xanthan gum to make Beef & Broccoli

  • 1 lb flank steak sliced into strips

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 4 tablespoons oyster sauce

  • 4 tablespoons water

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

  • ½ tsp USA Flava Xanthan Gum

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions: 1. Saute the broccoli in a pan or wok with oil for around 4 minutes. 2. Add in the garlic and ginger but don’t let it brown then transfer to a plate. 3. Season the steak with salt and pepper and cook both sides in a pan til browned then add back in the broccoli. 4. In a bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, water, sugar, sesame oil and soy sauce add in the steak and broccoli and cook for 2 minutes. 5. Sprinkle your Xanthan gum and cook till desired consistency. 6. Serve on plates with steaming hot rice.
