To perform Arris router firmware update, choose status from the setup page on the router interface. From drop-down menu, choose router upgrade. Select browse and proceed to the file that you have downloaded. Choose to upgrade and confirm. The firmware will be upgraded and confirm. The file will be uploaded and installed. You don’t need to switch off the router until the uploading process is completed. These are the steps that users need to follow to perform router firmware update process.
