Keto Marinara Sauce



  • 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil (Frankies is our Favorite)

  • 1 clove of Garlic, crushed

  • 2 teaspoons of Onion Flakes

  • 1 Cup Vegetable broth

  • 1/2 Diced Mushrooms

  • 2 teaspoons of finely chopped Fresh Thyme

  • 2 teaspoons of finely chopped Fresh Oregano

  • In a food processor puree 4-6 tomatoes

  • 2 teaspoons of Erythritol

  • 1 teaspoon of Pepper

  • 1 teaspoon of Salt

  • 1 tablespoon of Red Wine Vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons of Fresh Parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  • Using a medium saucepan, place the oil, garlic, onion flakes, thyme and oregano. Saute over medium heat for approximately 3 minutes.

  • Add the tomato puree and stir until blended

  • Add the erythritol, pepper, salt and red wine vinegar until it begins to simmer

  • Turn off the heat and stir in the parsley

  • Let the sauce Cool before storing

  • Store in fridge in an airtight jar
